Norma King was born in Idaho, raised in Wyoming and now lives in the Midwest. Her current favorite far-away place is Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where she hopes to live someday.
She learned to read at the age of 5 and hasn’t quit since. The writing bug hit her in junior high and she’s been writing for a newspaper or newsletter of some sort ever since then. Currently she is a contributor to the Kansas City Star and also writes stories for children and teenagers.
Norma is a 1-year cancer survivor and thinks people with cancer should be given extras, like: free chocolate candy bars at the store, free movie passes, free massages and free cottages on Cape Cod!
When she’s not trying to think of clever remarks she likes to garage sale, geocache, spend time with grandchildren, and avoid housework.
